Welcome to Saint Anne

Thank you for visiting us online and we look forward to welcoming you personally to our Catholic community in beautiful Rock Hill, South Carolina. Our mission is to be a Eucharistic community blessed with a diversity of cultures all united in the Body of Christ, and we hope that everyone who enters our doors will experience that sense of belonging that makes Saint Anne such a special place.

Saint Anne is a Roman Catholic Church located in the Diocese of Charleston. With a diverse ethnic congregation in the parish, and ministries to engage members in prayer, worship, formation, pastoral and social concerns, and stewardship, parish life continues to reach further every day. We encourage you to browse this page to learn more about us. We invite you to discover our website’s many pages to nourish your soul. We hope you will find a way to reach out and share your gifts.

Why Register?

Registration is the official way we join a parish community. Many people think that because they attend a particular parish they automatically belong. Membership requires signing up and formally register yourself in the parish. But it is also more than just filling out some forms. Registration is a commitment to a community, a way to be included in the prayer life, religious formation, social and ministerial activities of a parish. Your registration affects the parish in many ways. Census numbers can determine how many priests are assigned to a parish, what benefits and obligations the community has to the Diocese of Charleston, and how many Masses and programs are planned and scheduled. Registration not only shows you belong, but may be necessary for certain benefits, like:

  • Scheduling sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage)
  • Obtaining sponsor certificates and letters
  • Letter of Good Status for official organizations
  • Participating in any Religious Education Program
  • Engaging in Parish Ministries and Organizations
  • Religion Education scholarship
  • Receive F.A.C.E. (Financial Assistance for Catholic Education)
  • Getting donation statements for tax purposes

Committing to a parish is much like a commitment to a family, sports team,  school  or community organization. Just like you want the parish to be there to provide Masses, Sacraments, education programs and ministries, the parish needs to be able to count on you to be an Active Parishioner to help and assist in the parish mission. Are you registered with us?

RegisterNow

One way to know is if you receive regular communications from us, such as offertory envelopes, newsletters or emails. If you do not receive at least one of these every other month, then perhaps you are not registered here, you may want to check with the parish office staff. Registering in the parish is a statement of faith and confidence in the life and work of our parish. As parish members, we are all here to help each other on our spiritual journey; we don’t want to do this alone. As much as you need us, we need you too.  You may come to the parish office or see an usher or greeter at the Mass you attend.

If you are just browsing, you can check out our Multimedia and our monthly eNewsletter to read the weekend announcements and to learn more about what’s happening right now. Even if you can’t visit us in person, you can watch our pre-recorded Sunday Mass at CN2 every Sunday at 6:00pm. You can also “like” us on Facebook and follow us on Google+ to be connected.

If you are planning to visit the parish, please view Contact Us for directions and a parish map. We celebrate daily Mass each weekday, and we offer seven Masses on weekends (English, Vietnamese and Spanish) and Holy Days. You can find our Mass and Reconciliation schedule by clicking here.

Getting Involved

We are a very active community. There is always something happening; check out our Parish Life activities and Calendar for upcoming events. There are all kinds of ways to get involved whether you are exploring your faith, seeking the sacraments or looking for ways to serve.

Seeking Help

We care for one another in times of difficulty and crisis and support each other during stressful periods in our lives. Click here for more information on the ministries of the Society of Saint Vincent De Paul.

Families, Children and Teens

Saint Anne School offers the best in Catholic Education to children K3-9, with plans to expand through 12th grade. The school also offers Extended Care all year round. Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation are also available for all children and teens.

All are welcome!

For more information browse our Contact Us. You can call the Parish Office at (803) 329-2662 or visit our church from Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday during Mass.
