REQUIREMENTS OF CANDIDATES

Year 1

• Attend Faith Formation in 8th grade OR Attend a Catholic school in 8th grade.
• Attend 75% of High School Youth Groups  (15 Youth Groups)

Year 2

• Attend ONE Parent Confirmation Meeting
• Attend 75% of Youth Groups (15 Youth Groups)
• Attend the 9 Classes throughout the sessions
• Complete 15 Service Hours
• Complete Saint Report
• Complete Sponsor Form
• Complete Letter to the Bishop
• Attend Confirmation
• Attend Confirmation Rehearsal and Confirmation Day

Confirmation at St. Anne is a 2 Year Program. Please contact Sarah Gualteros (stanneyouthminister@gmail.com) if you are unsure what year of preparation you are in this year! 

Registration

Complete a registration form and turn in to Parish office with fee by October 1^st

Attend Youth Group   -Attend Youth Group on Sunday’s at 2pm (off on 1^st Sunday of each month)

Attend Confirmation Classes- Attend all 9 classes throughout the sessions offered. If you miss a class, attend in the next session. For example, if you miss Class 4 in a session, you can attend Class 4 in the next session.

Confirmation Retreat- Saturday March 16^th 10am-3pm.

This is MANDATORY for all Year 2 Candidates

Rehearsal- Wednesday April 3rd at 5:30pm. The sponsor (or a stand in) and the candidate should attend.

Confirmation Day – Thursday, April 4^th. Candidates arrive at 5:30pm (to the school), sponsors arrive at 6:15pm (to the school), Mass begins at 7:00pm in the church.

DUE DATES

Saint Report Due Date- February 1^st, 2024

Sponsor Form Due Date- March 1^st, 2024

Service Hours Due Date- March 16^th, 2024

Letter to Bishop Due- March 31^st, 2024
