St. Martha’s Circle

St Martha’s Circle is an organization of women who pray together, provide friendship to each other and help the church and community. St Martha’s operates the gift shop you see as you enter the church, providing religious articles for the community. The Circle also has an annual fundraiser.  Last year it was Fannie Mae Easter treats.. Monies received from our projects go to provide scholarships for St. Anne students and money for seminarians at the Oratory. We donate monthly to local charities so they may carry on their needed work. Our monies have also been used for several projects needed by the church: Mary’s Prayer Grotto, Gold/Silver Book of the Word, re-cushioned the chapel furniture, vestments for the priests, and choir robes are only a few examples.

Yearly projects include donating turkey for the Thanksgiving dinner at St Anne’s and the Christmas dinner at St Mary’s . Our gift baskets for the International Festival and St. Vincent DePaul’s fall festival are always a big hit.  We also spend time together at our monthly luncheon and enjoy other social activities.

St Martha’s meetings are on the 2nd Saturday of the month in St Anne school at 9:00am from September to May. Our meetings consist of prayer,  Devotion, discussion and a business meeting. We currently are 35 members strong but hopeful you will join us. Contact Nancy Grimm at 803-493-6528 or Therese Estrada 704-577-0200 for more information
