A Week of Learning, Faith, and Renewal

This past week, Father Johnni do Bonfim Silva had the opportunity to attend Acton University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he participated in conferences focused on faith, human dignity, justice, and the pursuit of authentic happiness.

Reflecting on his experience, Father Johnni shared that one of the greatest lessons was this:

“True happiness is not found merely in what we possess or achieve, but in living according to God’s purpose and seeking what is good, true, and just.”

He was reminded that every human heart has a deep longing that only God can truly satisfy. As Catholics, we are called not only to grow spiritually through prayer and the sacraments but also to continue learning, seeking wisdom, and deepening our understanding of God’s plan for our lives.
